When did you join ASM?

I joined AS Mentoring in September 2026 as a Neurodiversity Mentor.

Tell us about your experience, lived and/or working?

I have more than 25 years of experience working with organisations, leaders and entrepreneurs across business development, customer operations and early-stage ventures. Alongside my professional background, I have completed Level 2 Counselling, and mentored for University and NESTA funded schemes.

I also brings lived experience of autism within my family, alongside ongoing personal research and a local charity for autistic adults where I help to support their members on a weekly basis. I understand that every person's experience is different and aim to provide a respectful, neuro-affirming space in which people can explore what matters to them

What do you value most about your work?

What I value most is getting to know the person behind the challenge, helping them recognise their strengths and work out realistic next steps. I aim to work alongside people rather than tell them what they should do, combining practical support with honest, encouraging conversations.

What are your areas of interest or expertise?

My particular interests include employment and career development, building confidence in professional settings, navigating change and workplace relationships, engaging with employers, and supporting people who are exploring new ideas, opportunities or self-employment. I co-founded a recruitment consultancy and have an extensive network of business contacts.

When you’re not working, how do you relax, have fun etc?

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and boisterous Jack Russel Terrier. I support Aston Villa (Mens' and Womens' teams), and relish any opportunity to travel.
