Testimonials

Feedback from clients

The mentoring I have received has been of the highest quality, and I have enjoyed working with the person assigned to me

Client

I just wanted to say a big Thank You to you and AS Mentoring. It was a very big boost to our son: Talking to you confirmed to him that somebody outside of his family was on his side and greatly helped boost his confidence

A million million thank yous for helping me get to a job that I not only love but which has structure and enough time for me to get ready before work. Even 6 months ago I don’t think I would've believed it was possible!

Client

My autism meant that I struggled in understanding the whole job hunting process. I met with my wonderful mentor  every week and we went through cover letters and interviewing skills. It was really useful having someone go through cover letters and making sure that everything referred back to the job description. It also helped having someone explain what employers wanted but had not explicitly made clear in the job description

Client

It demystified the job seeking process for me and gave me the skills to begin to move into those parts of young adulthood. My mentor was exceptionally approachable, welcoming, informative and all round lovely! Thank you so much

Client

The sessions have been very good and helpful. They have helped me focus on what I need to do and how to complete tasks. They have helped me look for jobs and that is what is useful to me.  It also allows me to manage my time by giving me things to do when I finish each session. It has also helped me with meet ups and meeting new people to widen my network. It has even helped me to prepare for interviews; practising them so I get better at them. I would definitely recommend these mentoring sessions to other people

Feedback from organisations

Thank you for delivering such an insightful and engaging Lunch & Learn on neuroinclusivity in the workplace for Foundations. Your session not only deepened our understanding of neurodiversity but also provided practical strategies we can apply immediately to create a more inclusive environment for all colleagues. The way you combined real-world examples with actionable tips made the topic accessible and relevant, and the open discussion encouraged everyone to reflect on how we can adapt our practices. Your facilitation style was warm, interactive, and highly engaging, creating a safe space for questions and honest conversation. We left feeling empowered to make meaningful changes that support neurodiverse talent and strengthen our culture of inclusion.

I learned so much and I really appreciated the trainers’ passion for Neurodiversity and them sharing their personal stories. I don’t underestimate the bravery it takes for someone to put themself ‘out there’ in front of strangers but hearing about lived experience was really valuable and gave me a lot to think about. I will be more sensitive to the needs of Neurodivergent colleagues at work.

It was very informative, and even though I thought I had a good understanding of neurodivergence, I learned a great deal!

I certainly learnt a lot and I thought you did really well in bringing to life some of the challenges experienced by neurodivergent people and how they might show up in different contexts.

I know that our employee has truly benefited from your guidance, including your encouragement to explore wider opportunities outside the department, which led to 3 interview offers. Ultimately, your support contributed to a very positive and desired outcome

We were introduced to Charlotte a couple of months ago after Isabel had previously worked with AS Mentoring in another organisation. As Veran continues to grow, we have seen an increasing number of colleagues and candidates feeling comfortable sharing that they are neurodivergent. We wanted to ensure that our colleagues, managers and HR team had the knowledge and confidence to provide the right support, so we asked Charlotte to deliver neurodiversity awareness training across the business.

From the outset, Charlotte took the time to understand our business, our culture and what we wanted to achieve. She listened carefully to our brief and tailored the training to meet our needs.

The session was informative, engaging and incredibly well received. Charlotte's warm, authentic communication style, combined with her willingness to share her own lived experience, created a safe and inclusive environment where colleagues felt comfortable discussing their own neurodiversity and that of family members. This openness was a real testament to the trust she built throughout the session.

The feedback from colleagues has been overwhelmingly positive. Many commented on the quality of the training and Charlotte's engaging delivery, and we've received numerous requests for more in-depth training specifically for line managers, which we're now looking to explore with her.

Charlotte brings not only expertise but genuine passion and authenticity to her work. We look forward to continuing our relationship with her and would highly recommend her to any organisation looking to build greater awareness, understanding and confidence around neurodiversity in the workplace.
