How we work

We make things workable: clearer expectations, better communication, practical adjustments, and strategies that fit the person.

We build independence: good support should leave people clearer and more confident, not reliant on us indefinitely.

We begin by understanding what is going on and what “better” looks like. Support is shaped around your strengths, needs, and context. For organisations, we tailor work to your goals and setting, rather than applying a fixed programme.

Built around the individual

We are clear about what we do and do not do. ASM provides mentoring, coaching, workplace needs assessments, training, and consultancy through a neuroinclusive lens. We are not a clinical or medical service. If another route would better meet a need, we will signpost.

Clear scope and boundaries

We focus on actions you can use in day to day working life. That may include clearer ways of planning and prioritising, communication approaches that reduce friction, and adjustments that are realistic to implement.

Practical, usable support

Support often works best when the workplace or institution is part of the solution. With your consent, we can work alongside managers, HR, tutors, or other stakeholders to help remove barriers and make adjustments stick.

Working with the environment

Our work is grounded in trust. What you share stays confidential, unless there is a safeguarding concern. We work with clear contracting, reliable boundaries, and strong ethics.

Confidential and respectful

We help you use what you do well, while reducing what drains you. Success is not just performance. It is also wellbeing, sustainability, and a working life that feels manageable.
